TRI-SEAL/K-PACKER
These are developed to provide a seal between the outside diameter of the screen and the inside diameter of the casing. Manufactured by molding rubber to the outside diameter of a threaded steel coupling.
PVC BLANK
PVC Blanks are developed for the same purpose as the Tri-Seal/K-Packer. It is designed for use on PVC pipe by eliminating the steel coupling. It is intended to be glued to the pipe and contained on each end by a PVC ring glued to the pipe.
DRAW-DOWN SEAL
Big Foot Draw-Down Seals are made using Tri-Seal provided with holes for pump wires and wire sealing plugs. Installed just above the pump, it prevents contamination and air from entering the pump. It also centers and stabilizes the pump and riser. Draw-Down Seals can be installed with the head of the plugs down and used to seal in flowing wells.
SHALE TRAP/FORMATION PACKERIt is a bell shaped piece of rubber with a groove for a stainless steel clamp around the lower portion to stabilize it on the casing. The outer edge of the bell seals against the drill hole forming a collection point for the material used to pack off the top of the well casing. We offer stainless steel clamps for use on our shale trap/formation packer to hold it on the casing. We use only an all stainless steel clamp with an all stainless steel screw to insure that rust will not allow the clamp to weaken or break causing the formation to fall.
TELESCOPING TRI-SEAL
It is manufactured by molding rubber directly on black steel pipe which has a welders bevel on one end.
